The postpartum doula plays an important role in today’s family culture. The postpartum doula’s job is to make the transition to parenthood easier for new parents, to help the birth parent during their recovery period, to determine what the family needs help with and provide the instruction and support in order that the family has the skills to care for themselves and the newborn even when the doula is no longer there.

This training will give you the education and skills necessary to support families through their transition.
